Mohammed Rafi (born 24 May 1982) is an Indian footballer from Trikaripur, Kasaragod Dist Kerala, who plays for Churchill Brothers in I-League as Forward. Rafi impressed Indian national team coach Bob with his splendid performances in Durand cup and IFA shield.
Club
In 09-10 I-league. He finished the season with record 14 goals,which best ever for a Indian striker,he was also adjudged Mahindra United's player of the year.[1] He will join Goan Powerhouse Churchill Brothers in the I-League 2010-11 season after he signed a multi-million dollar deal with the team.
Rafi’s example was followed by his younger brothers Mohammad Shafi, who plays for Viva Kerala FC and Mohammad Razi, with KSEB[2]
International
Rafi also represented India number of times and scored a goal against Kuwait but India lost that match 1-9.[3]
